More ways to meet

Pop-up events are coming

As well as the monthly Last Thursday Club, we're planning one-off pop-up get-togethers — different times, different spots around the Island.

Details will be announced soon — join the mailing list or follow us on social to hear first.

What is Isle of Wight Networking?

No membership. No pressure. No awkward sales pitches.

Isle of Wight Networking brings local business owners, founders and professionals together for relaxed, friendly networking.

Come for a coffee, meet people you might not otherwise cross paths with, talk about what you do and build genuine local connections.

Whether you run an established company, a small independent business or you're just starting something new, you're welcome.

How it works

1

Turn up

Come along on the last Thursday of the month, 8–9:30am.

2

Grab a drink

Support Caffè Isola, who kindly host us.

3

Meet people

No forced pitches or awkward introductions — just conversations.

4

Spread the word

Share our posts and invite other good Isle of Wight businesses along.

Free means free

There is no charge to attend.

We want Isle of Wight Networking to stay accessible, friendly and useful. Instead of charging a membership fee, we simply ask attendees to support our host venue by buying a drink and help the group grow by sharing our social posts.

Coming on your own?

Never been before? You'll be absolutely fine.

Lots of people come along on their own, and there's no formal pitching, awkward introductions or pressure to “work the room”.

Grab a coffee, say hello and have a chat. That's genuinely it.

What if I don't know anyone?+

Most people didn't the first time! Come and say hello — we'll happily introduce you to a few friendly faces.

Do I need to book?+

No. Letting us know you're coming is helpful, but you're welcome to just turn up.

Is there a dress code?+

Not at all. Come as you are — whatever you'd normally wear for a working day is perfect.

Can I arrive a little late or leave early?+

Absolutely. Pop in whenever suits you between 8 and 9:30am and stay as long as you like.

Do I need to prepare a pitch?+

No. There are no round-the-room introductions or elevator pitches — just normal conversations.

Who is the event for?+

Anyone who runs, works in or is starting a business on the Isle of Wight — from sole traders to established companies.

Where can I park?+

Caffè Isola is in Newport town centre, so there are several public car parks within a short walk. We'd recommend checking the Isle of Wight Council website for current car parks and charges.

Who's behind it?

Hosted by Sophia

These networking mornings were created to give Isle of Wight business owners and professionals somewhere relaxed to meet, make connections and get to know the people behind local businesses.

No hard selling. No forced referrals. Just good people, good conversations and coffee.

Look out for Sophia when you arrive — she'll say hello and introduce you around.

Fancy coming to the next one?

Join the list and we'll send you details of upcoming networking mornings and occasional Isle of Wight Networking updates.

Help us grow the network

We don't advertise — the group grows because local businesses share our posts and bring along people they think would enjoy it. A quick share or a friendly invite makes a real difference.
